Oh, the joy of a perfect winged line - and the right products will help you get it.

It's classic, chic and still very much a favourite makeup look and although it can take a bit of time to master, there are products available which can take the angst out of mastering the feline flick.

Gel liner not only allows you a heavy-hitting pigment, but it's also very forgiving when it comes to applying thanks to the fact that it doesn't dry instantly allowing you to take your time.

This one from Shiseido comes with a calligraphy-style brush which not only is a nod to the brand's Japanese heritage, but also provides the perfect curved brush to hold and apply the perfect winged line.

Shiseido's Inkstroke Eyeliner in Shikkoku Black, $55, is super easy to apply with the Shiseido Inkstroke Eyeliner Brush.
