Kiwi designer makes US actress' wedding gown
US actress Brittany Daniel has given the most important job of her wedding day to a Kiwi - the dress responsibility.
The Sweet Valley High star chose Auckland couture evening and bridal gown designer Trish Peng to design her wedding dress for the big day.
The step by step process of how Peng made the custom-made off-the-shoulder, intricately embellished dress was documented for Daniel's blog The Sweet Life.
Peng said she was thrilled to work with the 41-year-old actress to create her dream bridal design.

"I took so much pleasure in the entire journey for Brittany from creating a mock up, to three to five fittings to ensure we got the perfect fit," she said.
Peng designs dresses for women in both Los Angeles and Auckland. Last year she moved to LA.
On Daniel's blog, Peng also provided tips on how to choose the dream dress and how she designed her dresses to suit the woman.
"When I design I think mostly about the woman I'm designing for — who is she? Since I design for both a Los Angeles bride and a New Zealand bride, the experience vastly changes on the brides' environment and styles. I think of her," she wrote.
Last year Peng, 26, showcased the longest train ever to hit a NZ catwalk at the New Zealand Fashion Week with a red lace, off-the-shoulder gown, with a 20-metre silk tulle train trailing behind.
Daniel took to her Instagram to announce she had tied the knot with long time boyfriend Adam Touni, and mentioned Peng, among others, who helped to make her day so special.
Daniel's twin sister Cynthia Daniel Hauser was maid of honour at the ceremony, that saw the couple celebrate their special day in front of 150 friends and family at The Carondelet House.
