Results: Eastern (Marlborough region) 2 wins (4pts) against Northern (Northern Nelson) 8pts; Eastern 8pts against Western 4pts; Eastern 6pts against Central 6pts. Central/Northern 21 points, Eastern 18, Western 12.  Andrea Corbett won all her three games for Eastern.

Two players from the Marlborough region made the eight-person Tasman team for the South Island inter-provincials be played at the Balmacewan Golf Course in Dunedin on October 28-29: Emily Stenhouse (Marlborough) and Tracy Bary (Rarangi).
