Heart-stopping rail crossing near miss
A car and four passengers have had the narrowest escape ever from disaster at a rail crossing in Poland.
With barely a second and millimetres to spare, the car is 'kissed" on the right rear as a train flies through the crossing at high speed.
The Polish state railway company says the incident happened in July.
Footage shows the car driving through a railroad crossing barrier and pulling up just over the rail lines.
A split second later the train flashes through the crossing at high speed clipping the back of the car, but none of the four passengers in the car were hurt.
Police issued the driver with a fine of about N$200 which seems a small price to pay when considering the disaster that could have happened from just plain dumb driving..
