Police probe letters sent to homes threatening to 'eradicate' PM Jacinda Ardern

Police are investigating after leaflets threatening to “eradicate” Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern were delivered to houses in Northland.

The leaflet was delivered to three properties in Kerikeri in December, senior sergeant Phil Le Comte confirmed.

The Northern Advocate reported the handwritten note was delivered in the Waipapa Rd area.

“Very soon a group of us are going to eradicate Jacinda Adern (sic) from this earth plain for good,” the newspaper reported the letter read.

“She is killing our people and our means to live a fair happy normal life.”

“She is done. Bye bye Jacinda. Very soons (sic).”

Le Comte said police were making inquiries, and it would be inappropriate to comment further.

A spokesman from the prime minister’s officer declined to comment, referring Stuff to police.
