Police have targeted Hastings' burglars with a series of search warrants.

Hastings burglars have been targeted by police, with a series of searches recovering stolen racing bikes, an engagement ring, and a Tag Heuer watch.

Detective Senior Sergeant Martin James said police were trying to keep the pressure on burglars this week by executing search warrants.

James said police were pleased to recover two Cervelo racing pushbikes stolen from a Havelock North property in 2016.

The bikes, worth more than $7000, were uninsured and the owner had given up hope of seeing them again.
