NBA star Kevin Durant made fun of by ESPYs host for leaving OKC
Former American Football great Peyton Manning has poked fun at NBA basketball star Kevin Durant.
Manning, a two-time NFL Super Bowl champion, who hosted US sports glamorous ESPYs awards on Thursday [NZ Time] in Los Angeles, called out Durant, who controversially left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors last summer.
Durant went on to win the NBA title this season with the Warriors, who overcame the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 in last month's NBA finals.
"Our gymnastics team was so dominant that Kevin Durant told me he wants to play for them next year. And I gotta tell ya, I don't think you'd start for that team, Kevin," Manning said.

The cameras then focused on Durant in the audience, who looked less than impressed, sitting next to his mother, Wanda.
Manning wasn't finished and then asked, "Russell Westbrook, what do you think?", referring to Durant's former star team-mate at the Thunder, who was also in the crowd. Westbrook could be seen covering his mouth.
Westbrook was named male athlete of the year at the ESPYs, to go along with his NBA MVP award from last month.
