Waitara store sells second division winning Lotto ticket in Wednesday's draw

A tiny Taranaki town has sold a second division winning Lotto ticket in Wednesday night's draw.

The ticket which is worth, $33,792, was sold at Waitara's Impulse Snacks & Lotto and is one of five to share the second division prize.

The others were bought in New World Browns Bay, Manukau Pak N Save, both in Auckland, Countdown Otorohanga and MyLotto in Wellington.

Lotto's $1 million first division prize was scooped by a ticket sold at Gisborne's Mangapapa Four Square.

Meanwhile the holder of a Strike ticket sold at Auckland's Gossamer Minimart & Lotto Shop in Auckland is $200,000 richer after winning Strike Four.

Powerball will be worth $8 million on Saturday after it was not struck and rolled over.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
