The top Apple App Store downloads suggest most iPhone users are playing games on their smartphone.

People are using their iPhones to play games, access social media and organise their lives, a list of the most downloaded apps reveals.

The top 10 most popular iPhone-compatible apps people payed for this month featured a star-mapping augmented reality app and a face-editing app.
