Rising Kiwi stars in Cup Day entertainment line-up

Two rising Kiwi stars will perform at Cup Day this year.

Theia, of Christchurch, will perform at Addington Raceway on November 14, as will Aucklander Mitch James.

Sol3 Mio's Moses Mackay will perform the national anthem "a cappella style".

Addington raceway business and marketing manager Keryn McElroy said it would be the biggest line-up Addington had seen.

Theia, who is up for single of the year at the People's Choice Awards, will be the headline act in the public village/general admission area.

"I'm excited to be returning home to Christchurch to perform at Cup Day. It's such a popular event and it's great to be playing for a home crowd," she said.

James, a 2017 New Zealand Music Awards finalist for best pop artist, will headline the Lindauer Lawn Rooftop.​
