Need a winter break? Caretaker wanted for this Western Australian island paradise
As rain lashes down outside wintry windows take a moment to consider a new job that could whisk you away to the light and heat of Western Australia's Kimberley coast.
A quarry company in Western Australia's far north is looking for a caretaker to look after an island two-and-a-half hours from Broome that houses some of its assets.
There's no pay in it unfortunately, but Kimberley Quarries reckons the fish are abundant, the views spectacular, and if peace and quiet is what you crave you'll be miles away from anyone else who could possibly disturb the serenity.

Shared on the company's Facebook page, this idyllic job has kindled thousands of daydreams, being shared more than a thousand times and pulling in more than three thousand comments.
"Said I wanted to escape, this be perfect," one person said, while another pondered "time to go off grid?"
If this looks like the gig for you, Kimberley Quarries said to send an email to Candice@kimberleyquarries.com.au.
Good luck, and send us a postcard if you can.
