Elderly men escape nursing home for German heavy metal festival
Two elderly men escaped a nursing home in Germany to rock out at a heavy metal music festival.
Nursing home staff contacted police after the pair went missing.
They were found "disoriented and dazed" at 3am at Wacken Open Air, the world's biggest heavy metal festival.
"They obviously liked the metal festival," police spokeswoman Merle Neufeld told German public broadcaster Norddeutscher Rundfunk. "The care home quickly organised a return transport after police picked them up."
